Our Story

Diecast Models 4 U is a family-run business based in Galway, Ireland. What started as a hobby soon became a small business when we decided it was time to share our passion with the wider community. 

Diecast Models 4 U is a community focussed brand, offering a home-grown approach to the diecast community with a wide range of collectable models for customers both young and old.

We pride ourselves on our community focus and will do our utmost to help source any model. We hope you enjoy our products as much as we enjoy offering them to you. If you have any questions or comments, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Our Mission

Our goal is to take long-forgotten memories of the years gone by and restore them through our range of classic model cars, trucks, tractors and more.

Do you remember the car your father used to drive you to school in, or the weekends spent out on the farm with grandad on the tractor? These memories are precious to each and every one of us and we hope by wandering into our store or browsing our online shop those fond memories will return, and with them the stories that you can pass down to future generations of your family.

Each of our models hold a unique story. From the brand-new release, to the much loved pre-owned section with models dating back as far as the 1930s.

What We Do

We provide a wide range of limited edition models that are unique, classical and high-quality with a great attention to detail.

Each model is individually hand-picked by our team before making its way into our store or to our online shop. We ensure every model arrives in pristine condition before adding it to our website and our shelves. We have a set of values that we consider when selecting our products, these include: quality, uniqueness and nostalgia.

All of our models and collectables are premium products. They are designed to not only look good but also be true to the original vehicles that have been on our roads throughout the years. 

We appreciate how important it is to be aesthetically pleasing alongside the nostalgia a model might bring you. Whether the model sits within a special cabinet just for you or, just as importantly is sitting on your desk at work, on your dashboard, or atop your fireplace, we want all of our models to have pride of place in your home. 

Alongside our new in box models we also offer a range of pre-owned collectables. These are models that have once had their place in a home and our now ready to join a new collection. Our pre-owned models range from those in pristine condition, never touched to those with scuffs and scratches of a once played with toy, that now add to its history.

Do you have any old models that you are looking to sell? Well, we might just be able to help. Send details of what you have using the contact us form, along with a rough estimate of how much you’d like for the collection and we might just take them off your hands!

Send us as many details as you can for the collection, we always love to hear the story of the models. Don’t forget to include the condition of the models and any photographs.
